First of all, it prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, which causes excessive wear. High temperature protection is always maintained when this lead substitute is added to fuel.
Bardahl Instead of Lead Gold prevents excessive wear on valve seats and on the surfaces of the cylinder head in low-lead and unleaded gasoline.
