Zinc Primer

Provides a long-term protection against rust and corrosion. It has a very high resistance to extreme weather influences, salt and water. The product is tested under salt-spray and boiling water conditions.

Bardahl Zinc Primer is a high quality cold galvanizer. The protective layer resists heat up to 500°C., is quick drying and paintable. It is not a paint but a coating that is practically pure zinc. When applied correctly, it continues to protect against rust even if scratched through the finish of the galvanic action. This coating is also used as a spot welding paint. The product adheres reliably to all metals and can be used for repairs of damaged zinc coats, weldings and as primer. Bardahl Zinc Primer when applied correctly will conduct electricity. It dries quickly and is economical in use.
