People

We want our people to work in a pleasant, stable and safe environment. Through an open and engaged company culture, we provide a safe workplace where people can enjoy coming to work.

By agreement, OCD Nederland offers the option of continuing to work part-time after reaching retirement age.
Some of our production employees are recruited through Sociale Dienst Drechtsteden.
Sales staff receive product training and ongoing coaching.
Sales representatives advise customers and businesses proactively during visits, workshops and on-the-job training.
We offer employees the opportunity to exercise with a tax benefit through an adjustment to their gross salary.

Profit

Continuity is an important goal. OCD Nederland B.V. aims to remain financially healthy to safeguard that continuity. We do so by developing and marketing products that create opportunities for our business. Our own field sales team actively supports customers and translates the qualities of Bardahl products into opportunities for their businesses.

Bardahl fuel cleaners provide cleaner engines and contribute to lower fuel consumption. Fuel consumption has a direct relationship with CO₂ emissions: if fuel consumption decreases by 1%, CO₂ emissions decrease by the same percentage. One litre of diesel produces approximately 2.63 kg of CO₂.
Bardahl professional machines for particulate filter, fuel system and air intake cleaning create new opportunities for our customers. They contribute to a longer service life for components. Proactive cleaning provides cleaner engines. A clean engine performs better because it runs with less resistance, resulting in lower fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.
Bardahl has developed various oil additives that stop or reduce oil consumption and reduce friction: B2 Oil Treatment, Oil Booster + Turbo Protect and Full Metal.
Bardahl has developed various oil additives that stop oil leaks. This is an alternative to replacing expensive components and saves many hours of labour.
Bardahl has a growing range of very low-viscosity oils. These reduce friction and contribute to lower fuel consumption.

Planet

Many small activities help reduce the environmental impact.

Paper and plastic are separated.
Cardboard already available within the company is reused as packing material.
Bardahl products are continually developed to improve their performance and minimise their environmental impact.
Bardahl cleaning products are biodegradable. Biodegradability measured according to the CEC L-33-T-82 test is 90%.
CO₂ footprint: Bardahl fuel cleaners provide cleaner engines and contribute to lower fuel consumption. Machinery that is kept clean operates more efficiently and produces lower CO₂ emissions.
Cleaning the particulate filter, air intake and fuel system contributes to a longer service life for engine components and their sustainable use.
Invoices are sent digitally wherever possible.
Printing emails is kept to a minimum.
Eighty per cent of used oil is reused as Group I base oil.
IBCs are supplied through a deposit scheme to enable their use until the end of their service life.
Field sales staff are encouraged to drive fuel-efficient cars.
Company vehicles are supplied with the best lubricants and additives. This reduces wear and fuel consumption and extends the service life of components.
