Bardahl history
Ole Bardahl founded the Bardahl Manufacturing Company in Seattle, Washington, USA, in 1939. He made a unique discovery that significantly extended the limits of an oil's lubricating effect. He concluded that an oil additive could change the molecular structure of engine oils so that the oil adhered better to the engine's moving parts.
This marked the beginning of Bardahl additives. Bardahl oils, additives and fuel additives remain the only products with the unique 'Polar Attraction Formula'. ‘Polar Attraction Formula‘. This formula ensures adhesion to metal surfaces. It allowed a combustion engine to operate more efficiently, with less wear, friction and maintenance. The resulting lubricating film made higher temperatures and pressures possible.
The products Bardahl developed on this principle became a worldwide success in many branches of competitive sport. In this way, Bardahl wanted, and still wants, its users to be able to rely on the best lubricants.

Bardahl has more than 80 years of experience in developing oil additives, fuel additives, lubricants and maintenance products for motor vehicles and industry. Over the years, Bardahl has expanded its global presence and is now available in more than 100 countries.
